Hello. I want to set up Google Adwords Conversion tracking, so I can see how many people bought a particular product from the eStore application based on an ad that they clicked from Google. How do I set this up with WP eStore?
May 3, 2014 at 6:56 pm #62684WebGuy123MemberJust as an update to my initial question, I would also like to be able to track the Conversions based on each individual product that is ordered if possible (as opposed to just being able to track that someone purchased “something” from the eStore app on my site. From what I see, I need to add some code from Google to the Thank you page, but perhaps there is a way withing eStore itself to add the code, so that it can track conversions for each individual product. Please advise.

May 4, 2014 at 3:08 pm #62686WebGuy123MemberThanks for the reply. However, please note that I already have e-commerce tracking enabled in conjunction with Google Analytics. What I am trying to do is to link up the eStore with Google Adwords.
We have a few different ads in Google Adwords to advertise our products that are sold through the eStore. We want to be able to link up which ad brings in the most sales for a particular product on eStore.

Please click on the above link. I believe it would be the section that says “Track Transaction Specific Values” and then the instructions for “PHP”. Would that code need to go into the thank you page or is there a PHP file template in eStore that I would need to incorporate that code into?
Please advise how this needs to be setup with eStore. Thanks.
May 5, 2014 at 7:36 am #62687adminKeymasterI thought when you link your Adwords account with the Analytics account, you would get the details you were after via e-commerce tracking. Turns out that you don’t get everything from there.
I have created a separate addon to do the Adwords conversion tracking. I have sent you the addon to your email so you can test it out.
Install the addon just like any other WordPress plugin. Then go to the “Adwords Conversion” menu under WP eStore admin menu dashboard. Enter your conversion tracking label and the ID and save the settings. eStore will track it when the customer lands on the thank you page after a transaction. Remember to wait 24 hours for the stat to show in your adwords account.
