Setting up a discount code for only 1 product

How do I add a coupon discount for only 1 product, when I include one now, it adds the discount to all of my products?

You can use the conditions option when setting up the coupon.

Something like Item Id > Is equal to > specify the item id of the product

Note that the discount amount is usually distributed between the items in the cart.

This is so a 0 amount items is not created. Payment gateways do not allow for 0 amount items to be processed.
