Tagged: affiliate
As per the instructions in this thread https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/block-the-remuneration-of-an-affiliate
I have set:
define(‘WP_AFFILIATE_NO_COMMISSION_FOR_SELF_PURCHASE’, ‘1’);
in wp_aff_advanced_configs.php
to block affiliates getting a commission for self purchases.
But it’s not working – I can see commission being awarded to people who are using the same Paypal email address to buy products as the one they have listed in their affiliate profile.
I am using eStore to sell digital products and have WP Affiliate linked to s2Member for my membership products. As I need the “no self purchase” to work for both I made the changes in the Affiliate plugin.
Why isn’t this working? I’m assuming it tests based on the email address – is that correct?
If you need more details (screenshots, WP backend access, etc) please let me know.
Hi, Since you are using estore too, please make sure you have updated the option in estore plugin. The following post has example for both so do both of them:

If it still doesn’t work then enable debug in estore and do an affiliate purchase test transaction so we can get more data. The following post will explain how to enable debug:
