I have a few important referers who requested a lifetime cookie, and a bunch of smaller ones who should get the regular cookie life.
How can I specify various cookie life periods?
Let’s say I want affiliate A to have a cookie life of 60 days, and affiliate B a longer life, for ever for example?
I can see this being possible for Tier 2, but how about the tier 1?
The Affiliate only has a global cookie setting at this time. You can not have different cookie lifetimes on a per Affiliate basis.
No there is no option to set cookie life on a per affiliate basis. From your explanation I don’t see any issue if you set the cookie like to a large number for all of your affiliates. At the end of the day, an affiliate can’t get commission unless the sale comes via his/her referral. So there is nothing wrong with having a long cookie life.
