There is a great variety in the types of products that I sell, and ideally,
I would like each product purchase to result in eStore sending out one
email. I don’t want each sale in the cart to be appended into one email.
In other words, if they buy three different products, I’d like them to get
three separate emails.
Is this doable?
Initially, to try and work around this, I went to WP eStore –> Settings –> Buyer Email Body.
I kept this one really simple and basic:
Dear {first_name} {last_name},
{product_specific_instructions}
From there, I went to the product specific instructions of each of my products and placed
the {product_link_digital_items_only} in there.
This works out great as long as the customer only purchases one product, however, if
they purchase multiple things, now they get an email inside of an email inside of an
email, and each email contains all the links. So if the guy buys three things, he gets
three emails appended into one large email, and each of the emails gives him all
three links. So he’s really getting triples of everything.
What have you placed in the “Product Specific Instructions” field?
