I am using WordPress 4.3.1 with WPAffiliate v 5.8.6
I would like to send an e-mail after I approve the affiliate i.e. when I change the status from “Pending” to “Approved” and save the affiliate, a message is automatically sent to the affiliate to inform him of this and let him know a bit more about the program, where to get the materials, and so on. Ideally, it would be a message which I’m able to customize in the Email Settings, using all of the standard short codes.
So, besides:
“Affiliate Signup Email”,
“Affiliate Commission Notification Email”&
“Commission Notification Email for Admin”
I’d require an “Affiliate Approval Email”. How do I make this happen?
I see on your website this sentence: “There is also an option to send the affiliate an email when you have reviewed the application and approved the account.” so I think I am not violating the rule no.3, and if I am, I would like to make it clear that I had no intention to do so.
November 23, 2015 at 10:39 pm #71943adminKeymasterThere is an option to send a notification email when you approve the affiliate account.
1) Go to the “Email Settings” menu of the plugin.
2) Enable the “Send Account Approval Notification” feature from the email settings.
3) Customize the email details in the “Manual Account Approval Notification Email” section (if you want to).
4) Now when you edit an affiliate profile to approve the account, check the
Send Signup Email?
checkbox also then save the profile. The plugin will send that email to the affiliate when you approve an account.

May 18, 2018 at 12:02 am #71947adminKeymasterWhen you are editing the affiliates account to approve it, also check the
Send Signup Email?
checkbox then save the profile. That checkbox will send the notification email. See the 4th step explained in the manual affiliate approval documentation:https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/manually-approve-affiliates-site-1470

This is from Email Setting :
Send Commission Notification: Send Notification to Affiliates
Check this box if you want your affiliates to get notified via email when they receive a commission.
Send Notification to Admin
Check this box if you want the admin of this site to get notified via email when an affiliate receives a commission.
Send Account Approval Notification:
Check this box if you want to notify your affiliates when you approve their account. This is only applicable if you are using the manual approval option.

Please I need a quick help
May 18, 2018 at 12:31 pm #71950wzpModeratorAnytime the log says an email was “successfully sent,” it means that as far as the plugin is concerned; it asked WordPress to send an email, and WordPress says it was “successfully sent.”
Are the emails being sent with a FROM address that matches the domain of the SMTP (email) server being used to send the messages?
Are you using the SMTP (email) server that comes with your server’s hosting package?
What other plugins are you using?
May 18, 2018 at 2:42 pm #71951doraMemberi am using Postman SMTP
Do You recommend another SMTP ?
May 18, 2018 at 4:51 pm #71952doraMemberNow I reviewed my smtp again ,
