    Hello

Ok so my client sell few differents things on his website; ebook pdf, membership access for a private blog, and others stuffs like personnal trainer follow.

My client ask me something particular and i don’t know if it’s possible:

For each ebook he sells, he wants to send by email the link to download the ebook and an encrypt link to give access to a video on his webpage.

Of course i use amazon s3 for videos and a secure player.

I know your pay per view procedure but how i can in one single buy (per paypal or manual payment) combine the possibility to send the two links (protected ebook and encrypt link to the page containing the video?)

Another question about the pay per view system, can i retrain the access of checkout for non log in user? like i do with others products (like subscription?)

    Many thanks

In mean time, i need the customer to be able to access the video on website as many times he wants (so no restriction of times for him) but how i can protect the encrypt link receive by email?

I mean, if a guy send the email he received for a purchase to a friend. This friend will have the ability to watch the video because he will have the apr encrypt link too no?

Last question :-) Is the admin can be able to send manually the protect link to old customers (who baught the ebook before this new promotion including the video?)

    Thanks

I reply to myself with an hypothetic way to do it (that’s why your plugins are great, so many possibilities) and ask you another question in meantime:

First i check on emember settings: Enable the ability to assign multiple membership levels per user.

I add a product with estore, i assign the pdf to it and give to the product a membership level (let say “ebook1member”). Now on my video page, i choose to protect individually the content for this new level only. This way only this membership level can access the content.

But! due to the fact my client use another membership level for his Premium blog, there is a conflict

    Scenario:

    3 memberships levels:

    – Free level

    – Premium level

    – ebook1member

A user create a free account, then he buy/upgrade to premium membership for accessing the premium blog. At this point he can access to free content and premium content of website (as i set all access for the premium level membership).

Then he buy the ebook and receive a new level (call ebookv1) for accessing the specific page containing the video associated with the ebook (i plan to create several what i call “sublevel” membership like this, because my client sell few ebooks with video ).

At this point the user has the primary level (ebookv1) but he can’t now access to the premium blog anymore because this special sublevel ebookv1 don’t give access to the private blog. In a way emember override rules access and don’t stack previous rules.

Another issue is, in this scenario the customer see in his account area the level membership ebookv1 (with expiration set to never who is logic) but not the premium level with an expiration date (every month paypal take the money, and renew the premium membership automaticly).

Is there a way to prioritise the membership levels and stack access for every level the customer has baught? and tell emember when you create this sublevel membership to not be the primary level? this way the high membership level “premium” or “free” will stay the primary one?

I must think about all possibilities, and if a user is just a free membership (all users in my case must register to buy something or to post comment on free blog section) and buy juste an ebook, i need the free level stack the new access rights of sublevel membership but stay the primary level. The user must only see on his account area only two statues: free or premium, the others ones stay hidden for him.

Sorry again, it’s a bit hard to explain in english, i hope you catch the point about my demand.

Ugh! So many disjointed questions… Let’s see if starting from the beginning can help.

Create a bundled product, that contains both the ebook product URL and the video APRTP URI. The user receives both links on the Thank You page and in the email.

The APR links are subject to the usual download counts and duration expiry. Sharing of APR product links will not work.

If you want a customer to be able to view a video as many times as they want; set the download count to something reasonable like 7. Then, if they want to view the video more than 7 times; have them request “fresh links” be sent to their email address, using the wp_eStore_download_link_sender shortcode.

The Admin Functions page can be used to manually create and send links to anyone you want.

I’ll let @admin address the membership questions.

Hello and thank your Sir for your answers

I am sorry for so many questions in one thread ;-) but i try to find the best solution for my client.

I will have a look about the wp estore download link sender shortcode, i didn’t know about it.

If i set the download count to 7, as it’s a bundle , the customer could download 7 times the ebook too, right?

Is there a way to just re send the links of a specific product/bundle a customer baught? Because if a customer buy 10 ebooks, he don’t need to receive new link for every ebook?. Like your automatic update request, it can work with id? Actually with this shortcode, the customer can just enter his email address.

    Many thanks for your support

If you set the download count to 7, and the bundle contains 2 links; each link in the bundle starts with a count of 7. And yes, like the automagic update request, if the customer bought 10 products, they will receive 10 sets of links each time they use the link sender.

Ok, it’s clear for me ;-) Is it possible to do a custom plugin to extend the possibilities of the shortcode?
