Tagged: customer address
I am using Wp eStore together with PDF stamper to deliver ebooks. How can I specify that I want the customer to complete address details as part of the purchase so these details are stamped on the end product. At the moment the process just collects payment through paypal and stamps the name and email of the buyer but not their address?
PDF Stamper collects name, email and address of a customer from PayPal and stamps all of them. So you don’t need to collect address from the customer manually.
Hi, Did you put the Address tag in the “Footer Text”? The following page will explain how to do this:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-pdf-stamper/how-to-configure-the-settings-menu-68
The default settings were input:
Licensed to {customer_name} of {customer_address}. Email address: {customer_email}
but this is what appears on the stamped file:
Licensed to David Martin of , , , . Email address: sales@jesuschrist.co.uk
This was a teat purchase I made through a secondary paypal acc.
By default eStore doesn’t collect shipping address for pure digital product as it’s an unnecessary step that we can skip to speed up the checkout process.
Now for PDF stamper if you want to get the address then do the following to force an address collection.
Specify “0.001” in the individual shipping price section of the product. This won’t add any real shipping charge as the value is negligible but it will trigger a force address collection.
Let me know if that helps.
