I have 1080p and 4k Ultra HD versions of videos sold as a download to the public – videos are set to PRIVATE within amazon s3.
I also have SD and 720p versions of the same video set up for streaming for paid members. These are set to PUBLIC within amazon s3
Could I sell the SD version (set to PUBLIC in amazon s3) as a download and would eStore still encrypt the download link? Or would someone have direct access to the amazon url once they complete the purchase?
The SD data rate & video duration is quite low, so I could probably get away with keeping it as a private / progressive download as a alternative.
When using the Amazon S3 integration feature with eStore, ALL downloadable files need to be marked as PRIVATE. If you previously have been doing so as PUBLIC, then it means you were incorrectly setting up the S3 integration.
