Is it possible when the customer writes an instruction in the instruction text box to have that be seen in the cart? Right now once they entered the instruction it is never seen again as far as I can tell so I’m not sure they will have confidence that the instruction was included. If you are using the instruction box of eStore then that instruction will be added to the product name in the cart (visible to the customer). You can checkout how you works on the demo page here (see the 2nd product here):

If you are using a means that is outside of eStore plugin to collect instruction then the plugin doesn’t know about it and cannot include it in the cart. For example if you are using a contact form to collect some special instructions, it is best to place this option on the “Thank You” page so the customer can fill it out after the transaction. The contact form has a way to show a message saying something like “Your message has been sent” which should be enough confirmation.
