Okay, you fixed my Japanese character question, now for the currency/subdirectory question…
I have two separate eStore installations, one on the main website and one on a subdirectory (…/jp/). I’d like to offer Japanese yen denominated products on the /jp/ subdirectory, and US$ products on the main site.
The changes I make in the main site on eStore (such as adding new products, sales, etc.) are not reflected in the eStore stats on the subdirectory. However if I go to the subdirectory website and add a Japanese product to the cart, it’s still in the cart when I go to the main directory, and vice-versa.
The problem is that an $8 product becomes an ¥8 price when you go to the subdirectory. Quite a difference!
Is there a way to fix this so the items won’t stay in the cart when I move to the other part of the site?
I understand your scenario. I can add in a custom enhancement to the plugin so it can detect when a customer goes to a different WordPress install withing the same domain and resets the cart.
That would be great. How do I contact you?
Please use the contact form on the site (you can mention this forum post and it will get forwarded to me).
I finally updated my site and this solutions seems to work very well. Thank you!
