Satellite Affiliate Plugin Problem

Hi Guys, I’m pretty sure I’ve got this set up correctly, but please correct me if I’m wrong. eStore and Satellite plugin on sales website kettlebelltrainingacademy.co.uk. MainAffiliate plugin on affiliate website ramondavid.com. Link them using the remote post links and secret key. Send affiliate traffic to sales website with affiliate link at the end of sales website url ie kettlebelltrainingacademy.co.uk?ap_id=XXX and clicks and sales are then registered at the affiliate website ramondavid.com. I’ve tried 2 test sales and no stats coming through at all. Please help

Hi, Your setup scenario looks fine. What version of eStore and affiliate plugins are you using?

Do you have the debug option enabled in the eStore plugin?

Latest versions I installed yesterday. Affiliate 5.8.4 and eStore 7.1.3 I checked the debug box and tried it again and still not recording any clicks or sales. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I don’t see any transaction in the log file. Have you done a transaction after you enabled the debug option? Please do an affiliate referred test transaction so I can see some output in the log file.

Most things are working fine actually. You are missing one little setup.

Edit the product in question, and specify a commission rate in the “Commission Level” field. For example: if you want to offer 30% commission for this product, enter “30” in that field.

Also, probably use a value of $1 for the price. $0.1 is too small to generate any commission (30% of $0.1 is 0 when rounded).

Ok I added product specific commission and test with $1. Still no data and no notification of affiliate earning a commission. Does it register straight away?

Ok I think it’s working now. I don’t know how but for some reason the secret word had changed. I’ve changed it back so they match and a click has registered. testing sale now.

Actually I have a quick question. Commission for only a specific affiliate, do I enter 0 in the product specific commission and then 30 in the revenue sharing section with the affiliate id? – to give that affiliate 30% and 0 for anyome else. Thanks
