Hi,
I have been reading through the documentation and cannot seem to find a solution to my problem. I am trying to figure out the proper setup for my sales flow.
To preface this, I have eMember, eStore, WP Affiliate and PDf stamper.
I am selling a single ebook on the front end would like to allow access to a members only side for any updates to the ebook on the back end.
I’d like the flow to be as follows, if possible:
1. Visitor clicks an “add to cart” button to buy the latest copy of the ebook. It is a custom button.
2. Visitor’s payment is processed through Paypal as a yearly subscription.
3. After payment is processed, Paypal redirects to a “thank you” page, letting the customer know that a copy of the latest guide has been sent to them via email (stamped). On this page, I will also link to the members section to show previous editions for download. Note: I already have Paypal linked up to this thank you page.
4. I’m not sure where to fit this next item into the process but I am assuming there will need to be a username and password created by the customer after payment is processed. On the thank you page maybe?
I see that some of the above can be achieved from this guide – http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-configure-a-members-only-download-page-70. I also see that the stamper has the email directly option. Is it possible to tie it all together to match the above flow?
I picked up all of the above plugins thinking this would be possible.
Thank you in advance for any and all assistance.

To begin with, I am so glad I purchased your software. It’s awesome.
Now, I think I almost have this licked, but I’m running into a few issues. I think I have most of this set up by beginning with the PDF stamper / eStore setup. My product is online, connected to paypal, redirecting to my thank you page and stamping wonderfully.
If anyone else is looking at my sales flow for their needs, I began with the PDF Stamper / eStore setup video found here – http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-pdf-stamper/wp-pdf-stamper-installation-and-usage-video-tutorials-155
That got me most of the way.
I have two issues remaining that I cannot figure out.
1. I am using a slider on my sales page, which embeds the buy now button. I can’t find how to create a direct link for a product. I do not want to use a short code. I just need a URL to point to for this slider image.
2. I’m still having issues resolving the problem of creating a member account after the purchase of a single product download.
I’m still searching and I’ll update if and when I can figure this sales flow out.
Any insight would be awesome!
Thanks,
Mike

I was able to add the short code to my responsive slider to make the custom button appear. Settings still off, but I’ll get it licked.
Number 2 still unresolved. I will update and give a full tutorial on this sales flow process if anyone in the future is interested in repeating this method.

Okay, I figured out how to get the proper subscription short code for my button.
It all goes back to the PDF stamper / eStore integration video. I had to create the short code by editing my page, clicking on the eStore icon, selecting [wp_eStore_subscribe:product_id:PRODUCT_ID:end], then copying that short code into the HTML of my responsive slider.
Note: I need to ensure that the proper image URL was put into place on my listing details.
It’s all coming together.
Now, all I need assistance with up to this point is item number 4 in my OP. How do I ensure that after the product is purchased, new customers have the ability to input their username and password to come back to the site for any ebook updates?
In advance, I am sorry that I am making a mess out of my own thread. I just want to show my progress in hopes to help others who want to do what I am attempting to do. I will wrap it up cleanly at the end, once I have the process figured out.

June 26, 2013 at 12:05 am #56310adminKeymasterYou can make secure “Download Now” buttons on a members only page. Then your members will be able to log in and click the button to download items. This documentation has more info:
You can also use eMember and eStore’s purchase history feature to let your customers re-download items.
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-display-a-members-purchase-history-158
There is also a download link sender feature in eStore. Your customers can use that to re-download any products they purchased from your site. Here is how to do it:
Create a WP page and use the following shortcode on it:
[wp_eStore_download_link_sender]
Now you can tell your customers to go to this page and regenerate a download link to get product update.
You can find more details of the extra shortcodes addon from here:
