Great plugin, but I have a few questions / wish list items. If you don’t mind, I’ll list then all here in one place:
1. On the “Manage Products” page these’s a column for “Sales Count” for each product. The sales numbers are way off, and I think the reason is that when I add a new product using the “copy the details from…” it also copies the number of sales of that product. So a brand-new product that hasn’t yet sold at all will show the same total sales as the older one you copied it from. Is there any way to fix this, or to reset / edit the product sale count?
2. When I give a rebate to a customer the product doesn’t reflect that in your stats. I do have the latest version and did all of the things you recommend.
3. Is there any way to have only a maximum one unit per product for the “Add to Cart”? I sell digital downloads so it makes no sense to have more than one unit sale per product.
4. For products with $0 pricing, is it possible to have the sales / downloads show up in Google Ecommerce, or in the store stats? So far they don’t seem to show up. I would prefer not to have a squeeze page, as I just want to give the downloads away with no strings attached.
5. Lastly, it would be great to have an option not to ask for or show the buyer’s address, as it’s not needed for digital downloads. (This might be more a Paypal issue?)

What you need to do is after the copy you change the values that you like for this new product. You can easily change the values of the sales count at this stage.
2. By the word “rebate” do you mean “refund”? Which payment gateway are you using?
3. I have plans to add an option for this.
4. No, Price is a mandatory field for Google Analytics E-Commerce tracking.
5. You do the following tweak to stop asking your customers for an address
May 3, 2011 at 10:04 am #31929jaylatSpectatorThanks for the quick reply! Just to take the points in order.
1. Thanks, good to know but are you saying it’s impossible to go back and edit the sales count after the fact? The only chance to edit it is during the time you create it?
2. Yes I meant “refund.” I’m using Paypal.
3. Great, look forward to it.
4. How about using your Estore stats? I just want to get an idea how many downloads there are. I suppose it could be done with Google using goals instead.
5. Thanks, I’ll try it.

When you issue a refund from PayPal it will reflect in the stats as refund.
Please explore the “Manual Checkout Settings” section and check the necessary checkboxes (help text for each field explains what it does). There is an option whereby you can make the manual payment work similar to PayPal (all the sales records will go into database). When this happens the eStore’s stats will pick this up. Google Analytics goal tracking or event tracking is the proper way to do this.
May 11, 2011 at 5:22 pm #31931jaylatSpectatorI’ve issued several refunds over the past 60 days and none of them are showing up in my eStore’s stats. I did check the box for “Automatic Customer Record Removal” in eStore. Everything else seems to be working just fine.
I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, not sure what it is?
May 12, 2011 at 12:41 am #31932amin007ParticipantIt is very easy to track. You enable debug before you issue a refund. After you issue the refund wait for PayPal to notify eStore (this should happen instantly in most cases). At this stage eStore will remove the customer’s record from the database.
Send us the debug files and we can see what eStore did when it received the refund notification.
If you don’t know how to enable debug this post will guide you:
