Tagged: Debug, PayPal, pdf stamper, PDF Stamper and PayPal Debug
If you are testing a plugin for the first time, go through this checklist which has a list of common mistakes that people often make when testing (it will help you avoid those mistakes):
If you are using a plain PayPal button with WP PDF stamper and having a post payment issue then it is a good idea to run a test transaction with debug enabled. This will let you see more details of what happened after you made the payment on PayPal.
1. In order to enable debug, Go to the settings menu of the plugin and check the “Enable Debug” checkbox.
2. Save the settings.
This will make the plugin log the activities in a log filed called “ipn_handle_debug.log”.
If you don’t understand it then share the content of that file after a test transaction and we will be able to assist you.
The “ipn_handle_debug.log” file will be created in the “wp-pdf-stamper/api/” folder. There is a link to this file from the “Enable Debug” feature area in the settings.
