Robust Member Login Form Customization

Hello.

I’m new in WordPress and I only have a little programming knowledge.

I’m trying to modify the WP-Emembers login form, I´d like it will be like this:

To do it, I’m making changes in my header.php on my wordpress child theme.

Searching in the code with Firebug I saw that it’s necesarry make changes in the file eMember_style.css (for change the bar width for example).

I have fear that, if I update the plugin in the future, changes will be removed. How could I avoid it?

Also, I would appreciate any help to obtain this login form because I haven’t any experience. Perhaps there are other ways to obtain it.

The best option is to use the following addon. It has a few nice looking pre-made member login form shortcodes:

The altnative option is to get us to do a custom job so we can create a form that looks just like the design you give us. Use the following form for that:
