I have just set up WP eStore on a site i have just built http://www.faceonagolfball.com and it works very well however after payment it is not returning to the specified URL in my settings which is a page with a form so that my customer can submit a file… What is happening is purchases from a totally different URL are getting sent there!

So, i have followed the set up guide for this to the letter and set all of the appropriate settings in my Paypal profile. Where the trouble lays is that i use the same Paypal account for purchases from a couple of sites. I just sold a DVD Tutorial from my tianjay.com site and got an email from my customer stating that he got returned to the faceonagolfball site…

Any ideas on how i can address this?

    Thank you

Are you using “Auto return” on your PayPal account? If you are then you most likely have specified a URL in your PayPal account where you want your customers to be redirected to after a payment. This is the URL PayPal will redirect after a payment unless this value is overridden at transaction time. On the site where you are using eStore the WP eStore plugin will override the return URL value that you specified in the general settings of eStore and will return to that URL.

If you are using plain PayPal button on your other site then you need to modify that button and specify a return URL for that button so it can override the value set in your account profile.

The idea is that every site should override the return URL value so that it doesn’t return to the URL set in the PayPal account profile for every purchase.
