Restrict max 99 in quantity field

what’s the file code to be added /change to only restrict a max 99 in qty on the quantity text field ? Thanks.

If you are just talking about customizing the error message then this trick will do:

If you are just after restricting the purchasable quantity to 99, then specify that value in the “Available Quantity” field of the product in question.
