Require name on squeeze form submission

I am using this shortcode: [wp_eStore_ssf id=18 template=3 button_text=”Signup Now”]

If someone doesn’t put a name in, it goes through as Name.

Is there anyway to require an actual first name is entered or it doesn’t work and shows an error message?
I did search the forum, however I only found people wanting to not make it a requirement.

Could you please post a LIVE link to the page with this particular squeeze form? A code review of the addon shows that an error SHOULD occur if either the name or email is empty.

Also, please ensure you are using version 1.7 (or later) of the WP eStore Stylish Squeeze Form Addon.

I think it has something to do with the name being in the block, because that is what comes through as the name in the customer area. I’m not sure if it’s “labeled” incorrectly so it’s being used as a default instead of just information for the field.

The addon needed an update for a browser update that has happened recently. I have just updated the addon to fix this.

Please download a new copy of the Stylish Squeeze form addon now and use that:
