Hi, I have just bought WP e member and estore – looks really good. A quickie really, any chance of having a Convertkit autoresponder integration with these?

Yeah sure. I will look into adding an integration for Convertkit.
Question for you:
Is the “forms” in Convertkit a lot like a “list” in Mailchimp or AWeber?
So you know how you add a subscriber to a list in MailChimp. Do you just add a subscriber to a “form” in Convertkit?November 18, 2016 at 5:27 am #74603
I don’t have Mailchimp or Weber.
Is there a private way to contact you? I will give you access to my ConvertKit to have a look if that helps. However you construct forms that subscribers enter their details into and then they go into a sequence. Does this help?

I have created an addon for eMember and ConvertKit integration:March 12, 2019 at 12:22 pm #74609writergal10Member
Hey I have the convertkit extension and I just tested it and it did not work. Can you confirm if I need to put in the sequence name or the form name? I have tried both now and nothing went into convertkitMarch 13, 2019 at 3:57 am #74610
It should be the sequence name. It is worth trying with both to see if the other works. Also, enable the debug logging feature of the plugin so we can see what error it gets from ConvertKit.March 20, 2019 at 7:10 pm #74611RlanoMember
Hello I have thrive themes and I just purchase eMember and eStore how I can integrate to the appentice plugin this plugin is to created the courses. That integration kit could work? Thank youMarch 21, 2019 at 4:44 am #74612
I just need a little more clarity from you in terms of what your actual question is about. Is your question about the ConverKit integration addon (ConvertKit is an autoresponder solution). Or is your question about the apprentice plugin from Theme Themes? This forum thread talks about the Convertkit integration. So if your question is not about ConverKit, then you can create a new topic with your question and I will provide help.June 4, 2019 at 10:12 pm #74613AliaSpectator
Hi, thanks for having this forum. I’ve also been puzzling over the Convertkit integration.
When you say “sequence name,” I guess you mean to create an automation Sequence on Convertkit (for example, “welcome to my email list”).
When someone purchases from the eStore, they get added to that sequence over on Convertkit, provided we have done the api thing. So far so good?
So in the autoresponder section of the product, we put the name of the sequence only, and the integration magic adds them to the sequence, and in the process to our Convertkit mailing list?
If we made tags for each product we sell, is there some way to also tag customers with the product they bought?
Thank you for your help, O key master ; )June 5, 2019 at 12:49 pm #74614
What you have mentioned about the sequence is correct. Regarding the tag option, eStore’s convertkit addon doesn’t have the tagging option for the product at the moment. I will look at adding the tag support to the eStore’s convertkit addon soon.June 5, 2019 at 1:03 pm #74615AliaSpectator
Thank you for the quick reply!
I will go cobble together a ConvertKit sequence (which I have been avoiding, so it’s a good push).
The tag thing would be fantastic–it is such a boon to know who bought what just by looking at their profile–they can get included and excluded from other mailings much more easily.
I would imagine instead of being added to a sequence it would just add the customer to the list, in the way a form would add them, and in the autoresponder section of the product would be the tag instead of the sequence?
Thank you for looking into this!
