Reporting – Metrics

I just bought the eStore and Affiliate plugins last night and just installed them.

Where is the reporting? Should I see something on the Dashboard? How can I find out what’s selling fast, what’s not, what time they sell the best, referrer, etc? This is critical for me to effectively run a business.

Hi, You can find all the reporting under the stats menu in the eStore. However the eStore has limited reporting the best way to do what you are looking for is to use Google Analytics E-Commerce Tracking for WP eStore. You can read about this here:

Any way to download transaction info?

How about showing number of downloads for each product description?

Each transaction details go to the “Manage Customers” menu. What do you mean by “showing number of downloads for each product description?” Not sure how you can have number of downloads for product description. Do you mean how many copies of a product got sold?

I’m setting up a store where I’ll be selling a downloadable theme. I’d like to show popularity (or uniqueness) by listing how many times that particular product has been sold.

I’ve seen quite a number of sites doing this. Here’s one example: http://themeforest.net/item/classica-minimalistic-wordpress-portfolio-theme/155672 (Look at the right column to see how many times this has been downloaded)
