Hi Guys,
Our primary WP Affiliate site is located at RC.com.
We have several other sales sites that have squeeze pages on them for different campaigns (SBC.com, RRM.com, SRM.com, etc.). In case it matters, each of these sales sites uses OptimizePress as the site theme.
Contact Form 7 and the Satellite Plugin are installed and configured on all of the sales sites, and click data is being reported back to RC.com as expected.
When I try to submit a lead via a Contact Form 7 squeeze page form on SRM.com the lead doesn’t show up under the Manage Leads section of WP Affiliate on RC.com.
I’m assuming I need to append some code to the Additional Settings section of Contact Form 7, but I haven’t been able to find that code snipet anywhere in the forums.
First, do I have everything setup correctly so far?
Second, how do I get squeeze page leads from the sales sites to report back to WP Affiliate on RC.com?
Thanks!
Jeremiah
The satellite plugin is not a duplicate copy of the main affiliate plugin. It has limited relay functionality mainly with clicks and some sales conversion. It can’t relay lead capturing info from other domains.
If we were to submit a lead from Contact Form 7 to the POST URL for Lead Capture (remote-lead-capture.php in the API folder) would that record the remote lead on the main affiliate site similar to how remote sales can be recorded for commission tracking?
Yes, it should given you pass in all the required parameters correctly. This documentation might come in handy:
