Is there a way to remove the member login text under the text I have in the heading so it doesn’t appear twice?
By default WordPress makes each of your pages a menu item. You can customize this by using custom menu. You can find the custom menu under the “Appearance” menu of your WordPress dashboard.
If you theme doesn’t support custom WordPress menu then you can use a plugin called “Hide WordPress page” which lets you hide unwanted pages from appearing in your navigation menu.
I just read my question and I can see why I got that answer.
I meant to ask about how to remove the member login text under the text of the heading in the right sidebar, not the heading menu.
Ah okay… where is that widget coming from (eMember doesn’t place any widget that looks like that)? Is it just a Text widget that you added with a bunch of links?
It’s a text widget that I added the emember login code to [wp_eMember_login]. I’ve changed that page now and worked out why the text was there.
Is there some code that has just the username and password boxes and login button?
Nope, the login form consists of the following items (they are all integral part of a login form)
– user name field
– password field
– remember me checkbox
– login button
– forgot password link
