Tagged: eMember
Hi!
I have purchased the eStore and eMember plugins together and have set them up with some basic functionality. I am using the eMember with a custom post type and have created two membership levels – the Admin level can see all CPT entries, but each Author member can only update and edit his own CPT entry. I would like to remove the eMember Protection Options from the bottom of the CPT entry editor window for the Author members – and only allow the Admins to see this functionality. Is there such a way to do this?
Thank you for any help in advance!
Donna
Hi Donna, You can turn off that eMember protection settings option in the WP post/page editor by going to the screen options settings of WordPress. Look at the top right hand corner when you are editing a post and you will a tab next to the “help” link. Uncheck the following option from there:
eMember Protection options
Now, this will turn this off for admins too but you can manage the content protection from the following area of eMember (your authors don’t have access there):
WP eMember -> Membership Level -> Manage Content Protection
