WP eMember registration not working for a particular free level

I followed this tutorial to create a registration for a particular membership level

it seemed to work fine, but when I tried to log into the newly registered account, it did not work

I checked in “users” and no user was added

What could I be doing wrong?

Please enable the debug option in the membership plugin. Then share a link to the page where you have the registration form so I can check it out.

The user registration is working fine. Where is your eMember login page? Looks like you have changed emember’s settings and updated the login page to go to the standard WP admin login URL?

eMember users need to log in via eMember’s login form. I think you are creating a member account via emember then expecting that user to be able to login via the WP admin login.

If you want to incorporate emember user’s with the WP users then you need to enable the following feature:
