As i stated in my last post, my system crashed after a backup plugin failed on godaddy and i was moving to another hosting account.
I am attempting to reinstall all the customer information. Those that have purchased and those that are affiliates with a possible sales commission record.
I have gotten the names and email address installed without question or problem.
However, I have not found any means with which to add the previous clients invoice, (i have this on paper records), price they paid or how to include this information to the affiliate so as to keep the complete records electronically and allow the two programs – eStore & Affiliate program to interact with the past history as they do with the present content.
Is there a way to include that information to the newly installed data.
I would hate to have to tick a client off because of the paperwork involved with tracking and backtracking errors.
Sincerely.

I just tried two test sales to ensure the site was functioning correctly and neither of the sales show up in the eStore records.
Here is the method and resulting action
debug activated in settings.
Test product 4 on an about page with [wp_eStore_fancy:product_id:4:end] code
shopping cart shows on the web OK
Price shows OK
Coupon box Shows OK
problem coupons from old install show up “ouch”
Paypal button shows OK
Paypay transaction OK
Return to web site from the paypal screen invoice error 404 not found
No record of the transaction appears in the eStore.
In the email i received two.
One stated
WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed
and give two reasons!
The second email states
Notification of payment received
and give me a Paypal id transaction
Can anyone assist with these issues please as everything was working great until the backup crash and hosting issues.
Thanks in anticipation from the CrustyBaker

This way you won’t lose your posts and comments either. When you transfer the whole wordpress database all the Plugin’s (eStore and any other installed plugin) data will be there for you. No need to do anything manually.
You can also export the data from individual database tables using PHPMyAdmin and then import in on your new server into the same table.
“Return to web site from the paypal screen invoice error 404 not found” – this is telling me that you have an incorrect URL in the “Return URL” field of settings menu of the plugin.
Remember, you just moved to a new hosting so you need to take a look at your settings again and make sure everything is correct.
“WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed” – It will have the exact reason why it’s failing (please read the whole email that you get after a failure and share it here).
Also, try running a test transaction with Debug Enabled which will reveal why it’s failing… this URL should help:
