Hi guys. I’m having an issue with the email link that is being sent. When the reg_link is sent to the user to complete registration, it’s not coming through as a link but rather text. The user has to then copy and paste the URL into their browser. Is their anything that can be done to make sure a clickable link is sent in the email.

You are correct; the emails are usually sent as text (not HTML) formatted messages. Please read this for an explanation:

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/why-use-plain-text-email-instead-of-html-email

Usually, the user’s email client will render recognizable links as HTML. There are however, 2 exceptions:

    1. If the registration link exceeds the width of the email client’s viewport; the text link will be “folded” onto the next line, and the link rendering will only turn part of the text link into a clickable HTML link.

    2. The email client has a setting that disables HTML rendering, and all links will be displayed as… text only.

In both of these cases; copy/pasting is the only resolution.

What kind of email client is this user using? I know that in most cases the email client turns that URL into a clickable link (for example: gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc. will turn it in a link automatically).

Also, you have the option to use the 2nd scenario explained in the following documentation. That scenario makes it to where you don’t need the user to click on a special link to complete registration:
