Looking at my register page, one of the fields that has been automatically included in the form (i.e. I can’t deselect it in Settings) is Membership.
It is a required field and is prefilled with one of my member types but doesn’t display as a drop down list so the new member can select a membership level.
At the moment I only want to offer one type of membership publicly (with me upgrading users to a higher level manually at the back end)
Is there a way to not have this field display at all?
The plugin knows what type of membership needs to be created for a user (just know that the plugin knows). It is important to show your member what membership level they are registering for.
You probably haven’t read the registration flow documentation. It might make a few more things clear if you read this post:
