I have purchased and installed this Add-on. The query I have is whether I now need to leave blank the “cookie time period” settings in the Settings Page? Or does this Add on override whatever duration is set for the customer cookie? Can you please tell me how to set the cookie duration settings after activating this Lock Customer AddOn? Thanks!
The cookies are still used, because:
…it will lock a customer to the first referrer when the transaction takes place.
You need to still continue your current affiliate cookie policy, with regards to duration and FIFO/LIFO, to ensure the desired “first referrer” gets locked to the customer.
As a reminder; “blank” does not mean “forever.”
