Regarding creating a membership app for mobiles

Hi:

I have created my membership site such that I offer “microlearning resources” – short ebooks, short courses, short everything – so that the bulk of people on mobile-native behavior can be served. Is there any way the membership site can be created into an app for mobile phones? Is there a way to pay for an obtain the app (thus created so members can login and use the membership site via mobile?

Or do you know of anyone who can help me achieve this?

If your theme supports mobile device detection, you can create a “mobile friendly” version of your website. Users could then save shortcuts to your site on their device home screens. Taking the “app approach” is not recommended for the following reasons:

1. A plugin cannot create a mobile app. The plugin only works on your website.
    
2. For every mobile device type in the world (iPhone, Android, WebOS, Tizen, Fire, KaiOS, etc.) you will have to create & support a different app.
    
3. If your app is placed in the Apple or Google appstore, and you are selling things through the app; Apple and Google want either a 15% or 30% cut of your sales.

Thanks, that was great advice. My membership pages are very mobile-friendly as I am creating them now, so I guess your advice is best.
