With an individual product in the estore, at the bottom of the “Additional Product Details” when creating the product is where you add a reference number for the emember membership access when using both the estore and emember.

I have three estore products all going into one membership page with two levels. They are as follows:

The first buy now estore product gets level one access.

The second buy now gets both level one and level two access together.

The third buy now gets an upgrade from level one to both levels after they already purchased level one.

emember reference number for protection level one is 2

emember reference number for protection level two is 3

My question: I put the number 2 in the “Additional Product Details” at the bottom for the level one buy now estore product related to the first emember level, but since I have another protection level and two more buy now estore products created to either upgrade to that second level or buy both levels at once, do I need to add both numbers 2 and 3 in the “Additional Product Details” for both of those added estore products? If so, do I add them like this: 2-3 or like this: 2,3

Or, do I only need to reference the other two with the number 3?

It would seem logical that upgrading to a two level protection would require both numbers referenced in that estore product.

I watched the video and read about it, but can’t find anything to help.

    Thank you,

    Dave

You can’t put “2,3” in the reference text field. You can only put one membership level ID there. Create another membership level that has access to content that you were going to offer with level 2 and 3 and use the ID of that level in the reference text field.

If you have enabled “Enable Secondary Membership” feature in eMember then when a member purchase a new level he will have access to both the old level and the new level.
