Hi,
I use eMember and eStore plugins. All my memberships are recurring, so when I create the buttons with eStore for my join-us page, I add a product name but I’d like to know if I must add the product price just below too? Because I’ve already add the price in the “Subscription/Recurring Payment Specific Settings” section anyway
My second question…
I created 12 levels for a 1 month membership. I’d like to know if a customer cancel his membership during the second month (for example) and he decides to resubscribe again 2 months later, what will be the level he’ll access? The first one again, the second who was the level when he cancelled or the following level (third) ??
Hi,
For your first question:
When you configure a subscription product, the “Product Price” field does not get used by the plugin to set the price because it uses the values in the “Subscription/Recurring Payment Specific Settings”.
Therefore for your case, you can either leave the “Product Price” field empty or you can even enter some text in there.
In answer to your second question:
If the member decides to re-activate their membership by paying for the subscription when they are logged in with their existing member account, the system will detect that they have an existing account and it will reactivate the membership level they were on when they cancelled.
Admin can hopefully confirm this when he sees this thread
