Tagged: subscription duration
settings in estore:
Premium level access is $35 first 3 months, $5 additional recurring billing.
settings in emember:
Premium membership level’s subscription duration is checked to ‘No Expiry or Until Cancelled.’
With these settings, Paypal takes care of the subscription payment while emember is left open until they cancel, correct? and they won’t be able to log in until payment is made?
If this is the case, how do you put a time limit on members that are manually added to the Premium level? – the ones that bypass the Paypal subscription process?
Just because you use a subscription payment for this membership level doesn’t mean you can’t put a expiry time in the membership level. In the usual setup you don’t put expiry time when using a subscription payment but since you are adding manual members you don’t have a usual case here. You can still put a expiry time on this membership level (you just need to figure out how long you want to give access to).
The other option is to create another membership level that has the same protection settings as this other level but this one is only for the manually added members so you can tweak the settings of this level without affecting the normal subscription path.
