Receiving a downloadable product with a subscription

We want to give away a free downloadable product with the purchase of a subscription. how do I do this? I set it up and put the link of the download in the product page, but the email does not come through after the subscription has been set up. The email arrives that lets someone know how to setup their account, but not the “thank you for your purchase” email, which would contain the embedded link for the free download. Is it possible to do this? Thanks!

Do you have a trial period with your subscription payment? If you do have a trial, is the trial period free?

We do not have a trial period at all.

Okay, that means you have the “Send Emails to Buyer After Purchase” option UNCHECKED in the settings. Please check that settings value is checked.
