Tagged: authentication page, captcha image
I have read the possible solution topics but they do not address this. The captcha is well integrated into every other forms except the authentication required page form for a locked-down section, that does not have the captcha.
However, after filling the authentication details and submitting the form, validation fails- “Security check: failed captcha. Please try again!”
Give me a clue to fix this.
Thanks.
We didn’t add the captcha there intentionally. Using a captcha on a registration form is pretty common but it is not so common for a login form. The site lockdown feature works slightly differently than the sandard login page. So I think it is okay not to have a captcha there. However, if you feel that is a really needed then we can add an option for it too.
Can you please send a link to the page where you get the “failed captcha” error message? Are you using the emember captch addon by ancy chance?
Hi,
My concern really is why am i getting this error feedback “Security check: failed captcha. Please try again!” on the form, when the captcha is not integrated there?
I am using the emember captcha addon exclusively.
This is the url to the toal lockdown bbpress forum page:

Thanks.
Let me investigate that a little. I think the latest version of the captcha addon has a little bug when used with the login lockdown feature.
Hi,
is their a solution to my problem?
Yep. We have compiled a new build where we addressed the issue with the captcha addon and the login lockdown feature. I have just sent you the updated build via email.
