MemberI’m getting less registration of users and more complaints that reCAPTCHA sucks. Mainly because the words are too difficult to solve for the human reader. I have noticed this at times also and have many times decided to not register because of the poor display of characters.
How do I replace this?
I want to try anything else, other than Googles reCAPTCHA.
I saw the Captcha plugin on the WordPress site. This looks like it could be a viable alternative, other than using one of Google’s monopoly control logging tools.
Saw the other post with this request too, Please explain, I think many on this forum will understand what to modify if explained in detail.
Thank You,
All the best

KeymasterWe are exploring an option to add a math based captcha option (alternative to the Google reCAPTCHA). We want to do some scouting and find a good one before we add it in eMember (don’t want to unnecessarily add solutions that may break in the future). If you know of a good math based captcha solution then feel free to share a link.

MemberHello,
I have only used “Really Simple CAPTCHA” made for Contact Form 7 which works really well… info says it’s configurable for other modifications

This one has fairly good reviews also, but I haven’t used it
Captcha. Looks user friendly and simple enough

Best Regards,
and Thank You for looking into adding another option to your already excellent plugin

MemberThis looks like an viable option

By encrypting or encoding the IP and email? or other information from the form or referrer headers you will have a unique code that is easy to read for the submitter to add
Thanks
