Hi,
I just bought both the estore and the wp affiliate and loaded both on my wordpress site. If I set up the products for sale, does the affiliate program automatically know that the products exist in the estore and when people purchase purchase one of those set up products, does the commission auto go into place for the affiliate?
I entered my paypal email address … is that the only thing I need to do for this program to know where to make all payments from products purchased?
Also, what kind of reports are generated for paying the affiliates? Is this a report I can load into quickbooks for creating checks?
Are you using WP affiliate and the estore to sell your products and pay commissons?
I like how easy the program is to set up and operate so far. Very nice work.
Thank you.
Dave
The affiliate plugin doesn’t need to know about a product. After a sale eStore will notify the affiliate plugin so it can record the commission. All you need to know is that if you are using eStore and the Affiliate plugin then you don’t need to do anything special. Just set it up following the video tutorials here and you are good to go:
Go to the “Manage Payouts” Menu of the affiliate plugin to see what you can do. The payout is biased towards PayPal mass payment option (this is just a really good way to pay lots of affiliates in one go). This post will explain the PayPal mass payment thing:

“Are you using WP affiliate and the estore to sell your products and pay commissions?” – Yes. The following two pages should give you more details on how I am using it:
