Tagged: affiliate link, affiliate url
Hi, I have several different products and am using eStore with all of them. I want to set up an affiliate program for each one, which all lead to different urls on one main site. My question is, should I have my main site be the default affiliate url instead of the individual pages? For the banner ads and creatives, I was going to put the full page link instead of the home page. Does this sound right? I just want to make sure their commissions are accounted for.
For example, here is what I currently have as my affiliate link: [http://www.jodichapman.com/365waystoconnectwithyoursoul/?ap_id=admin]
I would like it to be this instead: [http://www.jodichapman.com/?ap_id=admin]
since I will have other pages with products.
But in the creatives for the specific products, I would still use the full, longer link, right?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
All those links will work and track the commission. So its your choice to use whatever link you want to use.
Thanks! One more quick question – one of my links redirects to another site:
If I still use the main url in the affiliate home page and this url in the creatives for the specific ads, will I be all set?
Thank you.
Yeah that should work fine too.
