Tagged: pay per view
I have a series of videos for sale. Once a user purchases a video, I’d like to add it to their “library” (my videos). This content would never time out. The content would be in their library forever (like purchasing a song in iTunes). Is that possible? If so, how?
Thanks,
Josh
Hi josh, this is not possible.
Does the pay per view functionality do something like this? Is there a workaround or alternative options to achieving the desired result?
Thanks,
Josh
The “Pay Per View” option allows you to show the content of a page (e.g a video) without revealing the true URL of that page.
You want a system whereby each video the member purchases kind of goes to his account so he can have access to it all the time. eStore and eMember have an option whereby you can display a member’s purchase history:
I could modify this display so it also has a link of the purchased product but in your case it’s a video so that won’t work.
Could the purchase history page contain links to the pay per view pages which contain the video?
Do you offer services that would design the desired functionality for a fee?
I will send you an email.
Thanks. Just replied. Am interested in proceeding.
