Hi,
For awhile now, Gmail and other popular webmail servers have been marking purchase emails from our site as spam. We’re using eStore plugin version 6.6.0. At first I thought it was because in the “From Email Address:” field in the eStore settings we had a gmail account instead of an email address on our own server, but I fixed that and it didn’t solve the problem. Now I’m wondering if it may have to do with the long encrypted download urls, like this:
[example.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=2FuZ92YCUfKVhKrtgz3f%2BuWVE3rkFGGzEcvgNHVGJtg0QUzZEdLF%2F8YzrVlU]
One thing I considered trying was installing the open source url shortener, Yourls, on our server, and using it to convert the encrypted urls above into something shorter before they get sent out. However, research suggests that spam filters don’t particularly like shortened urls either, and I don’t want to spend a lot of time developing that solution only to find out it doesn’t work.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions?
Thanks!
The topic of Gmail and spam filters has been covered extensively in the past:
A good checklist to troubleshoot email issues:
eStore does support URL shortening:

Thanks! Sorry I missed that other thread. I did a search first but for some reason that didn’t come up.
