Purchase Confirmation Email Not Showing Coupon Discount

The customer receives an email summarizing their order, however this is just showing the “item” that appears in the shoppingcart, not the actual end purchase $ amount including discounts and postage charged.

Is there a shortcode or field that can be put into this purchase confirmation email which shows a more accurate summary of their purchase?

Yes, you can addd more transaction specific details to that confirmation email using “Email Tags”. Check our documentation (see the email tags section):
