In member area, I have file (different for each user) which I have uploaded to /wp-content/uploads/ directory and gave a download link in the member protected area.
However i could see that if someone types the download URL without logging in, then also he is able to download that file.
How to protect them?

You can obfuscate the location by using Free Download buttons instead of direct links.
