I am having trouble getting eMember to work. I am setting up a wholesale site trying to integrate eMember with Jigoshop with one free level membership. This is a site for wholesale members only and I want them to register first and then be approved by admin after checking to ensure they are a legitimate retailer. I created the “wholesale” membership and then protected all the product pages and then granted access to the wholesale membership to see this protected content. There is some other info content pages not protected. I am testing the site set up on localhost using MAMP prior to going up on the internet. The wholesale site is in a subdirectory of the main retail site with separate DB tables since the prices are different for the wholesale customer. I tested the site using another browser after I had deleted the cookies. However, when I go to the site all the content is accessible. What have I missed? The plugin version I am using is 7.8.1
First please go through this checklist which should help you find the content protection issue:
Also, this is a good list to check when doing testing:
I have reviewed and double/triple checked the checklists you provided. I still have one page, named “shop” which can be viewed even though it is protected in the settings and the individual page settings and properly assigned to the wholesale membership. I am using the theme called “FreshShop” When I change the theme to Twenty Ten, the “Shop” page still is visible to anonymous visitors. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.
No problem, I have sent you an email to get site access so I can check your configuration.
