We are using eMember plus Form Builder and Profile Extended. We have a scenario where users log in to eMember and go to edit their profile, but they are unable to save their changes. I have a test user on the site that has a phone number that is acceptable when set via the eMember Admin screens, but gets a validation error when the user tries editing their profile. The format is (AAA) NNN-NNNN ext NNNN. If the number includes ext or additional numbers, it results in the error “Please enter a valid phone number. Most US/Canada and International formats accepted.” and the update is not saved. We had another user who claimed he could not update his password, getting “Access Denied” errors, however I have been unable to reproduce that. I can provide the test user login and password so you can see this happening. Simply log in, change something in the profile other than the phone number, and try to submit the change.
Do the following in your form builder:
Instead of using a “Phone” type field, use a standard text field and label it “Phone Number”. That way, the plugin won’t try to validate the number.
