    Hi,

I am using the latest version of eStore and the Affiliate plugin. I checked the ‘use profile shipping’ box and entered a weight for my product in the settings. I also have the profile shipping set up in my pay pal account. However, when I enter in a zip code to calculate the shipping, it still says $0 and doesn’t calculate anything.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Hi, Can you please send a link to where this is happening so we can take a look at it?

    Cheers,

    Ivy

    Hi Ivy,

Here is a link to the buy-now button.

Thanks for the link… Looks like you are using a “Buy Now” tybe button. I forgot if the “Buy Now” type buttons pass the weight value to PayPal (the weight option was added for the shopping cart in mind).

Just for a quick test to make sure your PayPal profile shipping settings correct… can you please use that same product for an “Add to Cart” button and checkout using the shopping cart and see if the paypal profile based shipping works fine?

    Hello,

I don’t want an add to cart button. I want a buy-now button. Is it possible to use the profile based shipping with that?

    Thanks.

    Here is what I did:

Viewed the source code of a normal buy-now button, copied and pasted it into a new page and added the hidden field <input type=”hidden” name=”weight” value=”6.00″ />

That worked. Will my product still calculate affiliate commissions?….just wanted to make sure that little modification won’t interfere with anything.

    Thanks.

I have updated the plugin so Profile based shipping will work for “Buy Now” type buttons too. Please use the following URL to request an update of the plugin:
