Hi There,
Im just adding some test products to a site…however when i add the product url to display the image its contstantly giving me this error..
“The URL specified in the Thumbnail Image URL field does not seem to be a valid URL! Please check this value again:”
i first tried adding an image to the media library then adding the url it provides…this didnt work…so i then created an images directory and uploaded the image and tried directly linking to the image and this didnt work…
Can someone please help me with this issue??
Cheers in advance for the support.
Simon
Did you enter the URL in the browser and verified that the URL is valid? If you know that the URL is correct then you can ignore that error message (it will not harm your site). It is just checking to see if the URL is correct or not but obviously something on your server is blocking the method used to perform the URL validation check. Which is why it is showing that error. Your users won’t see that error (it is only for the admin).
Hi Keymaster..
I managed to solve this…thanks for the reply, it helped alot!
I have another little problem, if you could help or point me in the right direction that would be great…
I have on the wordpress admin page 2 products like this…(next to each other.
[wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7] [wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7]
But when i view the page the products are actually displayed underneath one and other like this…(on the main page)
[wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7]
[wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7]
How can i get the products to disply on the page in a list….like this
[wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7] [wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7][wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7] [wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7] [wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7] [wp_eStore_fancy6 id=7]
Hope this makes sense, any help would be much appreciated.
