I setup the following.
With estore and emember, I setup a product that buys a membership with a downpayment and 3 payments.
SO I used a subscription.
If I use a buy now button, then I have to use a cart which does buy the product and send the email with the instructions. However, it doesn’t setup a recurring payment in paypal. It only buys the ‘trial’ payment.
If I use the subscription button, then it goes directly to paypal and sets up a recurring payment. However, the specific instrctuion email doesn’t get sent. I have to use a web URL after the payment.
I would like to use the specific instruction email if I can. How can I do this?
Are the instructions related to an eMember subscription? You can include the instructions in the registration email.
eMembers –> Settings –> Email Settings
If you use the “product specific instructions” field of the estore product then use the following email tag, then it will get sent to the user after they subscribe:
{product_specific_instructions}
I would like buyers or subscribers to add special instructions to their order. How can I integrate a small paragraph section in the cart. In other words, lets say the buyers select several products
such as hosting services, SSL, etc..I am looking for just one paragraph which the buyers can use to send instructions. I do not see any options in your current settings.
