Shopping Cart – Product redirect url

I have created a membership site using the wpestore and have also created a store selling individual products. I want to take people who purchase the membership site to one thank you page [http://holliebodie.com/wordpress/thank-you] and those that purchase individual products to another thank you page [http://holliebodie.com/wordpress/thank-you-product].

In the general settings of wpestore I set up the redirect url to go to the thank you page for the membership purchase [http://holliebodie.com/wordpress/thank-you]. Then I went to the individual product and placed a different thank you page url under the Buy Now/Subscription settings [http://holliebodie.com/wordpress/thank-you-product]. When I test the individual product, after I pay it takes me to the thank you page for membership purchase instead of thank you page for product purchase.

If you read the help text for the “Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Specific Settings” section you will see that it says something like the following:

The options in this section are only used for "Buy Now" or "Subscription" type buttons

What that means is that the options you specify in this section are only used if the button is of type buy now or subscription.

So my question is when you placed a button for this product what type of button did you use? Can you tell me the shortcode that you used to place the button for this individual product?

I think this is an ‘add to cart’ type of shortcode. [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=6] I still want to keep the cart because they may want to add multiple products to the cart before checking out.

Should I switch the redirects around. Put the subscription url redirect under “buy now/subscription” and the product url redirect in the general settings?

The redirect you specify in the general settings is for the whole shop/store. For buy now and subscription products you can override the redirect URL to a more specific one so yeah it would be easier for you to switch the redirect around to achieve what you are after.

Issue with redirecting to Paypal after user clicks on “pay with paypal” from the shopping cart widget. It works fine in Mozilla Firefox. The issue is with Chrome & IE version 9. It displays the message “redirecting to paypal” but when the page loads it only shows the Order Summary box on the left… it does not show the form on the right where users need to enter name, phone, email, credit card info, etc. I HAVE CLEARED THE CACHE AND FLUSHED DNS SETTINGS AND REBOOTED COMPUTER.
