Product History Field – Enhancement Request?

It would be useful to have a way to track product history over time for product management purposes. This could be a simple text field or a more complex product change history to capture notes and changes in the product description, pricing, number of links on the site, record sales/download counts before resets, or updates to the actual product.

This field or change log should not be visible to customers only admins and might be best done as a separate section.

I am just getting started with eStore and understand the need to keep the code lightweight, but I have old download stats from my previous method and have begun revising products, their descriptions and their landing pages and so far I have to track these changes to see if it helps in a separate location.

This will become a more useful capability once I start selling products.
