About a month ago I added authorize.net as a payment gateway. It has been working fine up until the last few days. When a customer goes to checkout (and I’ve tested this now of course) it gives me this error “Line item 1 isn’t valid or too many characters”. My website is http://www.metalstampedmemories.com Any help would be appreciated. I’m not a very “technical” person. Thank-you!
I should add that this only happens with some of my items and not others. I am able to go to the checkout page with some items and others I am given the error message.
Authorize.net has a limitation on how many characters your item name can have. Obviously some of our item names are hitting that mark. Post a link to the product page that has the item with shows this error so I can see how long that product name is.

If you click on the second necklace down the (You left footprints on my heart)that is one example of where it is happening.
I figured it out- thanks anyway! I had an invalid character (heart symbol) in the product name. Also authorize.net has a 31 character limit.
